Refund Policy
Mindathon Olympiad has 0% Refund Policy.
Purpose: This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are not provided for the Mindathon Olympiad registration fees. The purpose is to ensure clarity and understanding for participants regarding the non-refundable nature of the registration fees.
Scope: This policy applies to all students, parents, and guardians who register for the Mindathon Olympiad.
Policy Statement:
1. Non-Refundable Registration Fees:
All registration fees paid for participating in the Mindathon Olympiad are strictly non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, fees paid for entry, preparation materials, and any associated services.
2. Exceptions:
Exceptions to this policy will be made in cases where the parent or guardian has inadvertently paid the registration fee twice for the same student and subject. In instances of unforeseen circumstances such as personal emergencies, withdrawal from the competition, or dissatisfaction with the provided materials or services, refunds will not be provided.
3. Commitment to Participation:
By registering for the Mindathon Olympiad, participants acknowledge and accept that the registration fee is non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances. This commitment ensures that resources are effectively allocated to support the Olympiad's operations and quality.
4. Communication of Policy:
The 0% Refund Policy will be communicated clearly at the point of registration. Participants and their guardians must read and acknowledge this policy before completing the registration process.
5. Finality of Transactions:
Once the registration transaction is completed, it is considered final. Requests for refunds, chargebacks, or cancellations will not be entertained under any circumstances.
6. Dispute Resolution:
In case of any disputes or questions regarding the non-refundable nature of the registration fee, participants can contact the Mindathon Olympiad support team for clarification. However, the policy of non-refund ability will remain unchanged.
Acknowledgement: By registering for the Mindathon Olympiad, participants and their guardians agree to the terms of this 0% Refund Policy and acknowledge that they understand and accept the non-refundable nature of the registration fee.

Effective Date: This policy is effective from 1st July’24 and applies to all registrations made on or after this date.
Review and Amendments: The Mindathon Olympiad reserves the right to review and amend this policy as necessary. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to registered participants through official communication channels.
General Instructions
1. Upon Receiving Packet:
Inform the Foundation promptly via phone, email, or SMS with the SCHOOL CODE.
Open the packet and verify the number of question papers against participants, class-wise, subject-wise. If discrepancies arise, photocopies are allowed.
Keep question papers securely with the Principal until the exam starts.
2. Attendance & OMR Sheets:
Check the Attendance sheet for participant names. Add any missing names or new participants and photocopy blank OMR sheets for them.
Classes 1st and 2nd use Junior OMR Sheets; classes 3rd to 10th use standard OMR Sheets.
Do not replace absent students with new ones; add new students name in the attendance with additional OMR sheets provided.
Teachers should not sign for students or alter names/classes on OMR Sheets.
3. Prior Arrangements:
Create a sitting plan and assign duties to teachers/examiners.
Distribute Admit cards to participants; do not return these back to us.
Inform participants and parents about the Olympiad date and time at least one or two weeks prior for maximum attendance.
Provide extra 2B pencils, Blue/Black pens, erasers, and sharpeners for the exam.
Send examination hall photos to support@themindathon.org, mentioning the school name, school code and address.
4. Duration & Timing:
The exam is scheduled between 11 am and 12 noon, but the school can choose a convenient time on the Olympiad date.
No calculators, mobile phones, or electronic devices are allowed.
Each question has only one correct option, with no negative marking.
Participants must write their REGISTRATION NO. and NAME on the question paper.
5. Instructions During the Exam:
Read the instructions aloud twice before the exam starts, including guidelines for the question paper and OMR sheet.
For classes III-X, no explanations should be given during the exam. For classes I and II, the examiner may assist in understanding the questions.
6. Question and Duration Breakdown:
Classes I-V: 35 questions, 60 minutes.
Classes VI-X: 45 questions, 60 minutes (MEO- VI-X: 40 questions, 60 minutes)
After the Examination
7. Checklist:
Mark attendance on the sheet.
Count and arrange OMR sheets class-wise.
Ensure participants to fill in their Registration number and other details accurately.
For absent students, fill the circle on the OMR sheet to mark them.
The invigilator must sign the answer sheets.
8. Return Items:
Return all OMR Sheets for classes I to X to the Foundation.
Fill out the Attendance sheet completely, including any name corrections.
Use the self-addressed envelope provided for sending back the answer sheets, or ship them to the Mindathon Olympiad Foundation
address.
9. Result Declaration:
Results will be declared in December/January and sent to the school.
10. Feedback:
Include any suggestions and comments in the feedback form.
